Field Visit About
Folklore Studies
The students of the second and third years of the Department
of Musicology went on a field trip on the 8th of August 2018 from 12:00 p.m.
onwards till about 5:00 p.m. to the Dilmah Conservation Center, Katubedda. This
was organized by the subject coordinator, Mrs. Iranga Weerakkody. There they
were able to learn about folklore related to trees while observing them as
well.
In addition to that they were able to learn about organic
farming, cultural heritage as well as observe many aspects related to that.
